About the Job

Join our growing team at Inspire Radiology. As the Senior Accounting Clerk, you will contribute to the success of our mission through performing general accounting functions including accounts payable processing, accounts receivable, reconciliation of bank account and credit card statement, implementation of related policies and procedure. This position will support the financial services unit to ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial transactions, with minimal guidance and direction. This is a unique opportunity to join a new, but rapidly growing radiology practice and work with a collaborative and passionate team.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients/vendors/hospitals and internal teams to research and resolve unapplied payments, payment discrepancies, and open credits.
  • Communicate (through email and phone calls) with clients/vendors/hospitals in a professional and timely manner, to encourage payment while maintaining positive employee relations.
  • Identify, escalate, and resolve issues attributing to account delinquency.
  • Perform daily posting of payments, accurately and efficiently, to the appropriate client and invoices.
  • Create Journal Entries and work within QuickBooks for processing.
  • Document and follow standard operating procedures and identify risks to improve controls.
  • Provide processing & payments for 1099 staff.
  • Perform other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
  • Complete all responsibilities as outlined in the annual Performance Plan.

Your Skills & Qualifications

  • Associate degree or higher, preferably in Accounting or Finance.
  • Minimum of five years of billing and collections experience, or related field; health care experience a plus.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience using ERP systems.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills, accuracy, and high attention to detail.
  • Ability to navigate and analyze data from multiple systems.
  • Ability to work with a high volume of transactions in a timely manner and meet deadlines.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced and continuously developing environment.
